until my Bronze Krentz Afrovenator I never spent more than $40. That is until I bought my Battat Diplodocus which I magically had $235 to throw at it. I really don't know how that happened, I don't think I've ever had that much money either before, or since o_0 My dippy can also double as THE most money I've ever spent on anything that wasn't rent or bills, hahahah
..I'm actually a little ashamed XD

^don't be ashamed- you spent the money on something that must bring you satisfaction- you wanted it or you wouldn't have bought it- plus from what I have learned about toy collectibles- although the prices can fluctuate from year to year- overall if you hold onto them for a while you can get a good return on your initial investment.

^ I have considered a couple of times of just listing the dippy on ebay... I come into money problems fairly easily because I am on a fixed income and I get about $40 a month that doesn't need to be spent on bills or rent. but now that I've started taking commissions with my art, and making ... not much, but enough - I hope it never comes to selling any of my dinos. like you said, I wouldn't have bought any of them if I didn't want them!

On a SINGLE figure...Mmh,i'd say the Papo Spinosaurus (23 EU)...On a group of dino-related articles,it's a match between my weekend in Switzerland (109-120 EU spent on various dinosaur models,a Kinto statue and various posters) and the that time i was in Turin and spent roughly 145 EU only on Safari Ltd figures

$45 with shipping for a MIP Dino Riders Megachoerus (Killer Wart Hog) from Germany.
I may have paid more for entire, later sets of Dinotales, but never for any single one--I think my max there has been about $15.

On a single item, that would be Kinto Desktop Amarga at $70 with shipping. ;D I'm sure if I become really desperate to acquire the Battat Acro and Bully Deinotherium, I will surpass that $$$ ;D

I've spent a decent bit on sets and such, but I think I've never spent more than $10-15 a figure, tops.

$100 on the Procon 1/15 scale Rex. $75 Dino Riders complete T-rex (not boxed) Next month $75 plus postage for the new Schleich Braci (yep that's what it cost's here) but its still cheaper than posting it from the US.

Same here, I was tempted to sell the diplo when it was way up there in price... however I know that I will never be able to replace it again if I did. I think it is the one figure I can never part with! If I had to choose and can only keep one figure out of my entire collection it would be the my Battat diplo! God, I just love that figure ;D

Look, it's my birthday, so I declare, yes declare, that we all shall refrain from discussing the bloody Battat Diplodocus.
Unless.
Unless, of course, if it relates to one of y'all giving me one. Or trading for one. Or, even, just sending me one to repaint for you, so's I can at least say I've SEEN one with my beedy lil eyes 'fore I die......
Hmmm, the most for a single figure?
Well, for a toy, it is a three way tie. The Procon Deluxe Agustinia, Kinto Favorite Brachiosaurus and Apatosaurus all cost around 20 plus shipping. For a figure not strictly a toy? 60 dollars plus tax for the tamiya Brachiosaurus. The whole Tamiya diorama probably cost around 130--140 dollars.
Now, as a lump sum, I just ordered about 30 figs overall, including the kintos, so about 300 dollars. That is X-Mas money, Birthday money, and just plain saving, and will not happen again soon. Or so the look in my wife's eyes tells me. Repeatedly. With emphasis.....
