Thanks Boki. Yes, the Alamosaurus has stripes going down the top portion of it's neck. You'd laugh, if you saw my "locations". lol Well, where ever you took the photos, they look cool

Well, Shapewaysnhas a new price structure. Small orders will be more expensive. Looks like I may be forced into doing 1/72. of course I'll still make the little ones, but due to new shipping costs it would be worth it either order more than one of the little models or include them with larger orders. The price to for shipping to the US in now 6.50. I'm actually not surprised by this at at all. good news is that if my new technique for hollowing works my material prices will come come down.

David's Kosmoceratops! What a beauty this one is! Just wish it was bigger Head-on A closer look at the head, its frustratingly difficult to photograph it and have the details pop out. Maybe once its painted. Raz00's Saltasaurus and Brontho The trio

That is so not fair --I think I had my order in around the same time you did, and mine has not even been sent as far as I know (I am in contact with them now). The stupid lot was supposed to be here today.

How hard/expensive is it to get these painted? I haven't ordered any yet, but I've also never painted any models before. I'd love to get a couple of them professionally done.

I paint mine up and never had one "professionally" done,so I can't really tell you how much it would cost. There are few members here who paint figures, like Copper, that you can send your figures to and pay a small fee. Look in the art sections, he does a really great job on his repaints. sbell - hope you get your soon!

Two new models from Shapeways by razh00: Hyneria and Vancleavea. Since the video “Walking with Monsters,” we have had a long wait to get a model of Hyneria, the terror of the Devonian floodplains. It is an osteolepiform, like Eusthenopteron, but not as close to the tetrapod lineage. Credit for this suggestion goes to sbell. Vancleavea should win a prize for weirdest archosauriform. If it turns out that turtles evolved from archosaur ancestry, Vancleavea could share some of their genes. Dinosaurs are more distantly related. To read a description, link to Darren Naish’s Tetrapod Zoology: scienceblogs.com/tetrapodzoology/2009/11/vancleavea_2009.phpCopied from Recent Acquisitions thread. Thanks Boki.
