Today i finally got it this Allo, and,to tell the truth... ...It's simply PERFECT And i love the fact that he's very muscular (not "fat",as some of you said),it make him feel more menacing and "savage" ;D

I keep telling you. And I thought MY jokes were bad. Ok. Ok. Let me point out just how inaccurate this figure is. 1. The tail is too thick. Usually, when illustrating dinosaurs, the artists never overdo the tail muscles. The Papo Allosaurus is a fatass. 2. Leg Muscles are too thick. Again, dinosaur musculature is a lot more simple, and not so thick. This figure looks like it's on steroids. 3. The arms are a bit too long for Allosaurus and its subspecies. Alas, the first manual digit sports a bigger claw than the rest. 4. The head looks a bit too much like a tyrannosaur's head. Allosaurus' heads were...what's the right word...not as robust, and not as wide. This Allosaurus' head seems to be quite wide towards the base of the neck, which is also...a bit muscular. The lower jaw also seems quite robust. This dinosaur almost looks like a fat tyrannosaur. I really see more similarities there than with Allosaurus itself. Alas, I've been looking for places where to buy this figure, and I'm gonna have to die with Ebay. Like I usually do. Otherwise, it's a nice mold. The details on its skin are very nice, and the color is also very nice. Please, first buy the figure, then talk. -The tail is muscular but THIN,not fat. -Have you ever seen the muscles of a dinosaur to say if they where not muscular???How do you want the legs of a biped animal of its weight to be???Thin???Are you serious??? -Maybe the arms are a little bit long, but not too much,And the fist digital claw of its hands ARE bigger. -Once you have the figure in your hands, you will realize that you were absolutely wrong about his head.Is not at all like a tyranosaurus head.Is smaller, thinner and narrow. It´s just an allosaurus head.

The JP allosaur is more recognizable as an Allosaurus. It needs the bigger manual claw, though. Otherwise, that's one of the best d**n Allosaurus figures I've ever seen. I'm not just fond of the figure, but the accuracy is astonishing. Hell, it's the best JP figure. Maybe the jaws could have opened wider, and the color scheme been a little bit more interesting.... He means the design of the MOVIE dinosaurs, not the toys
