Thanks, guys! Oh yes, I always keep all the packagings, tags, etc. Strange after all these years since WwD figures have been around, I have never heard of the "Babies" collection! I didn't really have the extra dough for them right now. But, I thought these were just too different to pass up. Glad I won them, but may end up having to resell them, hehe! If I do decide to resell them after I get and see them, I'll probably keep them sealed in their package. Another one who got those WWD babies! I got one two years ago. Yap, those are indeed repackaged Safari baby dinos What makes the set valuable is the packaging, so don't open it! LOL! ;D Toyway distributed Safari ( I think) in the UK, so they may have made a deal with them to use their figures as "official" WWD figures.

Thanks guys for the "WwD Babies" info.
Well, if that's all they are, I will probably just resell them and I will keep them unopened! Anyone interested? ;D

Its called Learning Express. Its a toy store. The owner calls me when they get new dinosaurs in. That's brilliant. ;D I wish I had anywhere who'd do such a thing for me. Come to that, I wish anywhere nearby sold dinosaurs at all. ;D

Woah! A mutant freak! One can imagine the first JP Dilophosaurus turning out like that. "Just a little less cobra DNA next time, lads." Absolutely. The arcade game was released on 1994, therefore Vertigo was surely based on the JP Dilo. She even had a sort of "frill", made a Dilo-like "hoot" sound, and spitted some venom I think. The dinos were all made with stop-motion animation, wich gave the game a sort of good old Harryhausen film feel. -and gory-fest touches ala "Carnosaur"!!-. Sadly, the game was never properly emulated, so my mame version is far from being satisfactory.

Carnegie Iguanodon in original colours and with '90s hanging tag! I normally throw out the tags but since the previous owner took such good care of it, I felt obliged to stash it in a drawer.
I'd quite like a new brown one now, and to stand them side by side...it's a decent figure.

Today I bought a bunch of CONCEPT ART reproductions, from classic dinosaur movies, drawn by Willis O'Brian and Ray Harryhausen. KingKong, LostWorld, Gwangi, MightyJoeYoung, TheAnimalWorld... Also some production stills, of the guys shooting the maquettes. It was a littlebit expensive, but worth the money.

Try to get a hold of it if you can it shouldn't be very hard to do. I reviewed it here if you want to take a look. www.dinotoyblog.com/2009/12/22/iguanodon-carnegie-collection-by-safari-ltd/

Oh, I don't think I'm quite as dedicated as that, but thank you so much for offering. I just thought it would be lovely to see your pictures of them, but please don't worry if it's not convenient.

Well I have some contact sheets with very very low quality images. That way I chose the photos I wanted. If you want to see those... I paid for them today, didn't get the originals yet.

We have this store called Tuesday Morning - they get all kinds of weird and random items. Today they had a Prehistoric Skeleton kit of an Ichthyosaur made by Thames and Kosmos for National Geographic. made in 2007, it's kind of like a larger Dinotales figure and sits on a stand - very cool, especially for $2.50.

Recently obtained: 1) ProCon (Collect-A) Kentrosaurus (closely resembles the WS version, although smaller, and the two look great together) 2) WS/Carnegie Ichthyosaurus with Ammonite (very well done, but required minor paint blending on some of the cephalopod's tentacles) 3) WS/Carnegie Dinosaur Skulls Toob (great stuff) 4) WS/Carnegie new sculpt Apatosaur (the new sauropod anatomical changes are in evidence to some extent) 5) WS new sculpt Brachiosaurus (very nice, though I would have preferred earthier color scheme) 6) WS Nigersaurus (probably the best-done overall (detail, paint, etc) of all the sauropods I own) 7) WS Tapejara (supertative sculpt) 8) Bullyland Homo Sapiens figurine (Abe Lincoln spade beard, but clean-shaven upper lip) hefting a spear with an atlatl (gotta be one of my favorite words) 9) Carnegie Tylosaurus (great job on the seprentine head and dentition) 10) WS/Carnegie Mosasaurus 11) WS Prehistoric Marine Reptiles Toob (my second; can't have too many) 12) WS Postosuchus (again, can't have too many)
