Got a mini battat dilophosaurus in the mail today Do you have any pictures, and do you have any of the other mini battat figures? I have the mini gallimimus, styracosaurus, and stegosaurus as well. I also got two predators today - falconer and berserker by NECA. It's because of these predators and the terminators made by NECA that have made me cut back on dinosaurs this summer

Dino resin goodness galore. I went on a bit of a spree recently. First, these five beauties from David Krentz's 1:72 Antediluvian series. Jobaria, Apatosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Tenontosaurus and Allosaurus. Poor Jobaria has become indistinct in the first picture, so here she is on her own. And I might as well post a picture of the Apatosaurus too, just because. Apatosaurus prior to some clean-up. These were from Urzeitshop, which were understandably a little more costly than direct from David (whom I haven't yet heard back from ). But at least they had less distance to travel. I was also sent this tiny gift: ' Go away, child' ' I just wanna play!' Then there is this beautiful 1:24 Styracosaurus kit by David Silva. Quickly assembled head: Also recently acquired were a number of Safari figures. Diplodocus. Feathered four from Safari engaged in lively discussion; Beipiaosaurus, Caudipteryx, Microraptor and Oviraptor. Triceratops. And Velociraptor. Such a beautiful figure and would have been near perfect if only it had feathers. Aaand finally, not pictured, but there were also the Tyrannosaurus, Allosaurus and Deinonychus from Kinto. They failed to co-operate with the camera. With the exception of the Allosaurus, they also failed to stand properly. The Kintos are lovely models, but this fault and their half-hearted paintwork are rather a shame. Looks like potential customising projects, methinks. Sorry for so many pictures.

Your Favorite T. rex wouldn't stand? Mine has stood perfectly for ages, even on rough terrain. Great buys! I am super de duper jealous. Git.

You aren't going to start bullying me as well! (Joke) ;D The rex stands but with difficulty, and a breeze will send him over at once. The Deinonychus doesn't stand at all. I tried the hot steam/water treatment and it worked for a while, but didn't last. So much for beng called 'soft' models (I know this isn't suposed to indicate their material anyway), the plastic is incredibly hard.

My Deinonychus won't stand, as I revealed in the [plug] review [/plug], but the others are quite stable. It's a shame. Did you get the brown or green Favorite rex? I got the brown and found out about the green afterwards. Now I'd much rather have it.

Very nice income! ;D I love those Krentz models, it just annoying that it is so hard to get and hearing back from him is next to impossible! Maybe one day. Love those sauropods, I have been wanting those forever. Sigh. Great job on capturing those ones ;D

I got the brown rex too, though perhaps I might consider the green as well one day (go on, you should get another too ;D). First, these five beauties from David Krentz's 1:72 Antediluvian series. Yes, I felt the two sauropods needed their own pictures as well as the group one. ;D (The others all have their own pictures too, but I was already cluttering up the page with many pictures ) I hope you manage to get them soon!

Only the Acrocanthosaurus and the Allosaurus have been glued to their bases, as they couldn't stand otherwise. I knew I would have trouble painting them that way, so it was a bit of a sacrifice. Also, as I seem never to have time and am painfully slow, I felt sure I wouldn't get the chance to paint them very soon in any case, so I'm still in two minds about leaving a few of these as they are (I love resins in their unpainted state as well), and perhaps getting more copies to paint one fine day.

Yeah its funny. Two bones have been found that could really belong to a number of different ornithiscian dinosaurs...annnd its therefore a ceratopsian.
