Toy Major figures (very decent chinasaur hard pvc figures that actually look better than most small Schleich figures) allosaurus T.rex Velociraptor baby Brachiosaurus the baby brachy with the 1:40 Schleich Brachy

The Allosaurus and Velociraptor look a lot like the Schleich versions, but the T. rex looks more like that new Mojo one (or possibly the Collecta). The brachiosaur (clearly based on Giraffatitan, like the big Schleich you've pictured it with) does actually look better than the small Schleich one.

This. Apparently it was painted by one Niroot Puttapipat (who he?). Man, you must be happy. A true treasure!! I'd love to have a Himmapaan-painted figure one day .

I'd love to have a Himmapaan-painted figure one day . Then you shall, Helge. I've only just had the chance to photograph this one. Lea (Mnemosaurus) very kindly gave me this Marolin Centrosaurus (presumably?) when we met up in Chiang Mai back in November. Thank you so much, Lea! ... I have also done a wicked, wicked, wicked thing... I have secured myself a Battat T.rex. Wicked because I'm in no position to buy any such luxury at the moment, but the opportunity was too irresistible; a buy-it-now listing at a very good price. These things are like gold dust these days. I think I shall call it my Christmas and advance birthday present to myself...

How is it that that figure was released all those years ago, but is still more anatomcially sound than figures being released next year?

Thank you so much, Lea! You're welcome! And oh, Chiang Mai is such a wonderful place with very very friendly people. I want to go back! Btw, the figure is meant to be a Monoclonius - super retro, that's for sure! ;D And congrats on that Battat Tyrannosaurus, what a beauty! Sometimes you just have to treat yourself

And yes, we Lanna folk are exceptionally kind people. ;D How is it that that figure was released all those years ago, but is still more anatomcially sound than figures being released next year? Incredible, isn't it?

Ah, finally, some cool new acquisition to end the year! ;D First up, some modern animals A new Coelacanth figure! This one is resin and is about 7.5" long. You can see more pics of it in the Coelacanth thread, including comparison shots. Lastly, the large resin (?) Saurosuchus galilei figure from the The Dawn Of The Dinosaurs set! ;D I really lucked out on this one, got it for just $15! ;D [ The other side of the box that shows the other two larger figures

So that's who bought that from Alex! I was surprised it went for so low. I was in a meeting when the auction ended, or it would have at least sold for higher!

It's still not rare yet ....... but that day will come . Great figure, probably the best of the trio. Great also for 1:40 collectors.

Yes, I was surprised that it went for that much considering that it usually cost about $40 at Clawmark toys. Well, I was not expecting that it would sell at that price, I just put in my bid and forgot about it until the auction ended and I got the notification that I won it! ;D
