Ornitho/avimimids and hypsilphodons e.g., Othneilia, Orodromeus are awesome little critters and woefully underrepresented by toy and model-makers. I'm sure you could make some incredible models, that even at 1:40 scale would be small and affordable, not to mention, among the best of their kind. Dioramas would look much better with some well-done small critters in them! I can never get enough sauropods of course, but I second the ornithomimids and hypsilophodonts.

The Invicta is terrible.

Yes, small 1/40 is ideal. I could do that. I have a Bistahhieversor just sitting around. I think the new Utah stuff is it! I've been itching to do a Kosmoceratops. Ande Farke was keen to help me with that. I need to do it before Angie does!

I look forward to them. However, if you intend on making anymore shapeways figures after this group please do consider the Morrison genera. Some of the more obscure ones (Haplocanthosaurus for example) are just begging to be made.

I dunno what to do next to be honest. I've been talking to Paleontologists all week, and they keep making every fauna interesting to me! Ahhhh! Ornitho/avimimids and hypsilphodons e.g., Othneilia, Orodromeus are awesome little critters and woefully underrepresented by toy and model-makers. What about in 1/30 scale so they can be displayed alongside the new and future Carnegies?

What about in 1/30 scale so they can be displayed alongside the new and future Carnegies? They could be done in 1/40 and 1/30 scale so that you could pose them with either one.

The Utah dinosaurs are a great idea. Especially since there are some new ceratopsians from there. Thanks for making such wonderful sculptures. And sorry to Dan and David for my impatience. Sometimes I stick my foot in my mouth and feel stupid after. You guys are doing a great job!

...Sometimes I stick my foot in my mouth and feel stupid after... I expect most of us are a little guilty of that now and again. I know I am.

No need to be embarrassed. Chalk it up to excitement over the work he's done so far..that's the best to way view it I think.. ;D

Yeah I am excited about his stuff. (And even more since ceratopsians were thrown around by David and Angie!) Unlike you, I fully embrace the little critters. ;D

I do like looking at them and admiring the tiny details and paint ups everyone does...( the images posted are so much bigger than the actual pieces anyway..lol ) I just can't see owning them really.

Yeah I understand. I have an apartment and space doesn't allow all the wonderful big stuff. I like painting in small scale, I painted and sold gaming miniatures for people for years. Nothing like painting an eyeball smaller than the head of a pin with a triple zero size brush? Ah..so tedious. ;D

Lord, I'm sorry I complained about painting 1/8 scale people...I've seen those minis and even own a few...there is no way without a magnifying lens to do every detail on them...it's just impossible.

Nice! What scale was the Ekrixo? Did you soak those in warm water and take a toothbrush to it? Looks like it might still have some gel on it!

The scale is 1/72. They have been cleaned thoroughly in these pictures, but neither photographed well.
