Maybe you could use clear resin and tint it yellow to make urinating one ? ..if you want to go humorous make a little dino or some other critter getting hit by it.. lol ;D Well, for what it's worth, probably no golden showers with dinos. Like most archosaurs (except most turtles and lizards )they have no bladder and excrete uric acid which is not soluble in water(it's the white stuff in bird poo) Little urine is produced and would be mixed in with the feces and uric acid. Doesn't effect just funny it would be though.. ;D I guess it could be taking a nice runny poop..but somehow that is more disgusting than funny...yes..I'm weird.

Ah, about time you posted some of you painted figures! ;D VEry nice, I like the colors and design. What type of paint did you use on this guy? Did you like working on this type of material, it looks like the SWF, right?

Thank you, Boki. You might be interested in seeing the thread I linked to. I mentioned those things you asked there.

Wow I love the fine details and pattern that you painted. I've seen some inspiring paintups with the shapeways figures, I can't wait to paint mine. ;D

Ok, thx, I will try the acryl. My recent attempt was wallpaper paste but it hasn't satisfied me.

Radman, or whomever else has the 1:72 Andesaurus, could you do me a favor? Could you measure the length if the piece along the spine and let me know what the total ( if stretched out) length is? Thanks!!!

Thanks!!! DK Hi David, I measured it at 229 mm (of which 138 mm are snout-vent length). The tail was especially tough to measure, though, so deviations of a few millimeters are always possible. So it's slightly longer than your "1:144" Alamosaurus which I measured at 210 mm.

Thanks.
Well does work for a 50 to 55 foot creature. It was very difficult to judge the length on exporting that. I'll wait till I get my own version before judging it too small or too big. Thanks for the measurement!

Heres one that shows the scale of 1:72. He's 7.5" long. Of course it's the supposed 45 foot long specimen. Would you want any other kind? DK Attachments:

Are you still planning the 1/40 version of the Giganotsaurus ? I can't say it enough..I would kill ( bugs or other pests at least.. ;D ) to have a 1/20 or 1/15 version of this Giga..it's just beautiful looking..and all those awesome little details..I bet they wouldn't even show up on the smaller Shapeways pieces.

Yes! I got the acrocanthosaurus and tenontosaurus, and they are amazing little sculpts. Now to add them to the ever growing list of "to paint" figures.
