Good choice, Seijun! I'd say the Alamo looks terrific in Black Detail.

Okay, first pix, I guess, of the 1:72 Giganotosaurus, and it is an absolute whopper. Detail is beautiful, as we have come to expect, of course. Here it is in SWF with David's 1:72 Antediluvian T. rex, and it is obviously at least twice as big ( not twice as long, but if these were actual creatures, it would weigh twice as much, I reckon.). This is another beautiful piece by DK, can't wait to get it painted, I may even farm it out to some of the esteemed painters on the forum. Buy this piece now and put a few bucks in Dave's pocket for his excellent work!

I'll be the first to admit that my Ante trex is too small for 172, maybe for an average 35 footer but not for te 42 foot monster everyone demands.
I myself kept checking the scale on the Gig cuz I thought it was too big. But as I mentioned before it's very close for the really big specimen.

I guess I need to make my Shapeways Rex bigger and with more detail now. See what you all made me do. It will also have pterygoids so big they'll hang like sides of beef!

if you browse all shapeways models and organize the results by most popular of all time, your rex is on page 2.

I prefer 1/72 also, at the smallest.

It's sitting on a frosted glass table! And all this time I was thinking you had photoshopped your models onto a pool for some reason.

Amazing.
David, do you think you might be persuaded to make some of your other dinosaurs besides the Giganotosaurus available at 1:72 too? What about, say, the Edmontosaurus, for instance? ;D

Sweet! I wish David would make his Cretaceous dinosaurs detailed the skin like his Gigantosaurus and Andesaurus: Still, Martin Garratt has bewildered me again! ;D

Embrace the smallness, you know you want to.. ;D Hear, hear. ;D The problem for some of us (who are getting long in the tooth and need reading glasses) is that when the figures get too small, its just too difficult to see the detail .... the 1/72 is probably large enough and I might pick it up to go with my Coloratas, but the 1/144 pieces are much too small I am afraid ...
