I finally decided having no scanner is not a good enough reason to at least try and show some of my artwork...so the quality may not be great but I think at least you'll be able to get something out of em'.. lol Title : Good and StuckA lone Stegosaurus has shown a Ceratosaurus just why you don't mess with them. Unfortunately for both they fighting on a very unstable cliff side..when the dust settles the Stegosaurus is exhausted and finds itself on a very small ledge...with it's tail still impaling the twitching Ceratosaurus and it's slowly falling to the edge...judging by the Pterosaurs below..they are quite a ways up from anything close to the ground.

Hah. I'm lucky just to notice whenever something new is added to my own page. Newfangled thing.
So how long did this take you? Everyone looks pretty banged up.

Falling from a cliff has that effect...and the battle before it wasn't too easy either I guess..lol
I work off and on..not straight through usually..so I think this one was done over a few weeks if I recall correctly.

These are great! I like the Stegosaurus and Ceratosaurus one. Do I detect some Delgado inspiration?

These are great! I like the Stegosaurus and Ceratosaurus one. Do I detect some Delgado inspiration? You most certainly do ! ;D I really liked his way of portraying dust, smoke and clouds..by just leaving them mostly blank. It also lead me to me doing the same with the roots . It lets you focus on the animals a bit more here than the surroundings. It was a change for me where I usually just super detail EVERYTHING... lol Thanks guys !

A Third Enters the Fray. A scene from Raptor Red by Robert Bakker where Raptor Red herself is attacked by a large female Acrocanthosaurus. Remembering the large pliosaurs that attack from the sea earlier she lures the theropod out into the waters hoping they will go for the larger prey item....and they do.

I'm liking that Para diorama. Maybe you should send it to me for further inspection, so I can give my professional opinion on the piece.

Love the Para family, they do look good as a group Most are done on just printer paper..about 8x11" or so...but I draw on about anything..napkins, table tops, stone, ect.. lol I really like pencil..but I do ink some in pen..I'm actually trying to do some more in pen at the moment. I've done VERY few color pieces..I'm kinda afraid of colors in 2D form I guess... heh heh I knew the hadro-people would love that Dio.. ;D

Malcolm / Dinonikes Para and the Tamiya Paras as a family group, all painted up and custom base built by me. Excellent! They fit together really well. Did you choose the "cyrtocristatus" head on the large Tamiya Parasaurolophus?

The one with more " curve " to it ? Yes I did, at the time it was really thought the female of the species had a rounder crest so that's my reasoning..it could be possible female Paras sported different crests than the males..or perhaps this one is a younger female ?
I was really surprised they were the same when I had Malcolm's in hand..I just had to repaint it to go with this pair. ;D
