I know..I was feeling the same way as her for similar reasons at one point..this piece easily reflects what I was trying to convey.

Your last pirate drawing reminds me a lot of "The Goonies"! Poor Leviathan indeed... As always, god is nothing more than a jerk By the way, Happy Easter to ya all! ;D

Your last pirate drawing reminds me a lot of "The Goonies"! Poor Leviathan indeed... As always, god is nothing more than a jerk By the way, Happy Easter to ya all! ;D Heh, if ole' One-Eyed Willy and his crew had awoken as an undead pirate when the Tortelli's took his gold that would have made the story 100x better ! ;D To create something only to destroy it doesn't make much sense to me. Life was given to these two creatures and then as an after thought their lives were ruined. Not mention Leviathan's eventual fate as well.

Every Sorcerer Dragon must be claim his orb, the source of his power when his master deems him worthy.
Inspired by Mcfarlane's Dragons collection and story.

In Passing I did this piece WAY back in high school..it's not so much scientific as just illustrated how one species can die out to make way for the other..in this case two theropod dinosaurs regard each other as they " pass " one to the future to the other to the past. Which is which ? I'll leave that up to the viewer.

Yeah it just interested me at the time..the whole idea of one species gone forever but replaced by another more advanced model..gotta love evolution... heh heh
Man I did so much better pen work back then...must have found a really good one somewhere...I tried some pen drawing a few weeks ago and they don't look near as good..though the Dinosaurs did improve.

Rex's Rage Inspired by a scene from Mike Frederick's DINOVERSE series of books. A T-Rex is trapped in a forest fire while pursuing one o f the main characters. He screams in pain and rage as his prey escapes and the flames consume him.

Going down with the shipSketch I did of a scene for our pirate themed haunt. I also built a small scale model of the same scene below.
The undead pirate is attempting to hack his way though the fallen timbers in the sinking ship and get to patrons walking or actually..running... through.model :

The final piece was. The first is just a sketch, the 2nd a scaled down model of the scene before building the full piece. It didn't have much, budget cut backs made the arm swinging the sword the only part animated. I meant to have vocals, 3 axis head motion, and light up eyes . I did get the pump working beautifully though..the water just poured in like in in a sinking ship in a film..pretty sweet.

Thanks ! The Para took about 2 weeks or so..the Pteranodon took a week to coat with vinyl over the foam. I'm working on the flying one now that broke it's wing for the 2nd time...but this is what they looked like originally :
