AFAIK there will be a blue ray. We are keen to have one, but there are greater forces at work as we have seen time and time ( and time ) again.
Please watch tonight! DVR does not count!

Well, I just went to the Science Channel to set my reminder for tonight. They are there. But, for some reason they're both listed as "Repeats", even though the info clearly states the shows' titles as "Survival Tactics" and "End Game", which are the last two episodes, right?! Hmm??? Anyway, I'll be watching.

OK, watched both of them and will watch the repeats up in about a half hour, hehe. Really liked them! Those Rex's are really friggin' scary looking. Soooo cool!!! Can't wait to get the DVD. Hope there's some nice extras.

I know, Chris. That's why I was hesitant in saying any more. I would truly feel left out too. Maybe someone will post some of it on YouTube. I still can't wait for the DVD. Wish I had a Blu-Ray. I'm sure the colors would look spectacular on it!
It's like with Planet Dinosaur. I don't know when or even if we'll get it over here. And I think it's already started in the UK.

I'd hope we get Planet Dinosaur over here..we did get other UK Dino shows so it's at least possible.

Saw both episodes. I won't say too much but I enjoyed them very much. The proroceratops bit I think was my fav.

Saw it last night also. Great stuff, my favorite was the End Game episode. Totally agree. I hope those who didn't get to see it will be able to soon so we can all discuss the episodes in more depth.

'Survival Tactics' in review: The variation of the two Utahraptor packs was very brilliant, showing the two obviously different gene pools. The only thing I wasn't found of were the Utahraptor's running cycle. It looked like they were running to the side in some clips, and the crocodilian. I wish they would have tried a little harder to make the model more life-like.
The Rahonavis bit was very imaginative, it having the ability to imitate many of the sounds it encountered in its gloomy environment. I was very impressed with the Rapetosaurus and Majungasaurus models and the Beelzebufo was just plain frightening! And how can you not love the inspiration of the Anhanghuera bit from the looney tunes! That was hysterical! I really like the Castorocauda and Volaticotherium. The two clumsy Guanlong finished it! I was really puzzled thought when the size of the two Guanlong's eyes were dramatically different. I put that question out for David and Angie.
The Protoceratops' were beautifully modeled. Their pebbly skin was very eye-popping! The Velociraptors were very outstanding also. It's always funny to see a blood-thirsty Velociraptor in bright pink! Come on, that has to make your day!
I will post my review on the the 'End Game' on my next post...

Great review. I agree the running of the Utahraptors was "funny". Reminds me of bugs for some reason. And yeah, out of all of the episodes and animals shown the Guanlong seemed odd. They looked like two separate species? The protoceratops were beautifully rendered.

I have just watched End Game and almost cried when I saw the Troodon with here egg in her hands. Sooo sad... I think that this is the best dino documentary ever made. All my initial fears have been vanished. I have to say that I criticized hardly this show considering what they showed at first, but now I admit that it is a master piece. Way better than Planet Dinosaur!!!!
David,Angie and all the crew, please, find what´´s necessary to make a high budget film!!!

d**n, thanks mmfrankford!
Tom De Rosier boarded a ton of that last Ep. It was a labor of love for him. Some Von Sholly and a dash of McCaig too.

Here is our Majungasaurus "Momma Majunga" that I sculpted. This was posed printed, and painted by Angie using Ricardo's awesome color scheme. It now sits on the desk of a Discovery Exec as a place to hang their car keys. Attachments:
