Not sure If I like the human like silly behaviour on the animals...I would personally prefer a more serious, documentary tone. On the other hand, the Allo clip is truly hilarious! ;D

On the other hand, the Allo clip is truly hilarious! ;D I have to agree with you on that. The allosaurus clip seemed a bit morbid to me, I think I would have preferred seeing the allo eat/carry back the ornitholestes rather than the decapitated body running about. Certainly doesn't seem like the behavior of a real animal. That said I'm still looking forward to it and the creature designs and animation look amazing. I'm curious as to why that allosaurus attacked the torvo, look forward to seeing the whole story.

The Torvosaurs scene is good too, but all seems a bit too random, with the dinos jumping on the screen from nowhere. It feels like a long gag. Maybe in the full lenght episode it would made more sense.
By the way... ornitholestes in the Iberian peninsula?

The thing is these kind of behaviors do happen to real animals..it's just us that see ourselves ( humans ) in them..which is usually good. It means the characters are reaching us and the story is working.
I think the head getting bit off is pretty funny..my grandmother rest her soul, used to tell us all the time we ran around like " a chicken with it's head cut off " which is something that also does happen.

Wow, the two allosaurs from the clips really do seem to be pissed off.
Anyways, really looking forward to this and Dinosaur planet, and will purchase the DVDs as soon as they are available in our country...

On the other hand, the Allo clip is truly hilarious! ;D I was just going to say the same. The Allosaurus pissed off because she can´t sleep and all...seems like a scene from a comedy...I don´t really like that... David and Angie´s work is amazing! I love David´s dinosaurs! they all look awesome, the Trex is just so beautiful!! But I have to say that the animation doesn´t make them any justice...they move like robots. Anyway I will wait and watch all four episodes!!

I really like the lack of narration. Something that bugged me in "March of the Dinosaurs" was that, awesome as Stephan Fry generally is, the narration was lathered on ridiculously heavy. All we really needed was some basic set-up, the rest of the story told itself. Stephan Fry seemed to be doing a kind of sports commentator broadcast through the whole thing.

I was having trouble with Bing..it loaded and played once..now it stalls out and just quits loading. Hopefully these will be up on Youtube soon.
I've read several posts where people complain the Dinos are acting too human...I can see how they think that..but it doesn't seem too out there for me. Feels a lot like reading Delgado's AoR series. The head getting chomped was hilarious..but I also figure that she prob would have just ate the whole thing or carried it back to the nest to feed the chicks. I can only guess she was so upset food didn't matter at that point..some animals do kill for reasons other than food though.
The Rex battle I had a tiny nitpick with the camera slowing down when they clashed..would rather have seen then hit as hard and fast as the rest of the clip. The animation feels a lot like Dinosaur Planet right now..not a bad thing really..I actually liked that series...but you can feel when the animals don't looks as real as they should because of looking too clear and detailed all of the time..real shots wouldn't have that.
But these are just early opinions based on clips..I'm still really psyched to see this premier ! ;D

Its totally fine if people prefer a traditional style narrated doc over this type. Its just very different. Animators are very, very brave souls IMO, lol. They are always gonna be first in line to be pulled apart when something isn't working And yes, that clip of all the dinos going ape I think is a bit much to have been shown. Taken out of the story by itself its just to much for everyone to understand what is going on. Strangely, I'm not minding the light narrartion. I thought I would hate it, but I don't. I very much appreciate that the narrator is not talking through the entire thing and only helping it in parts and then letting the story go. Anyway, glad you like the models. Miragaia is one of mine. Super difficult one to model, too. Probably my fav though.

I really like the "rattle" in the plates when they approach the Torvosaurus. Very, very cool and intimidating! I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to complain about the series. The light narration is just spot on. The accuracy is amazing. The humour is awesome. Overall this is exceeding my expectations in every level, and I had pretty high standards for dino docs! Lol

Considering how good the dinosaurs look I guess I was hoping for something more akin to an actual documentary and less like a graphic novel or cartoon. Non-believable behavior like that just reminds me that I'm not watching the real thing. I realize animals don't just kill for food by I find it unlikely that an allosaur accustomed to the calling animals of the night would even pay the creature any notice. Animals don't need to be humanized in order to entertain. Watching things like Big Cat Diary or any David Attenborough documentary I find myself totally engrossed in the lives of the animal stars without all the sensational BS. I'm not discounting "Revolution" completely though. The rahonavis story looks promising as does the one with the torvo (though more back story is required). I liked the tyrannosaur battle more than less, I thought the one individual taking a crap was actually a nice and believable addition. I also like the lack of narration.

I find myself enjoying the more cinematic story-telling approach more than I thought I would. The show seems to have one foot in a more traditional documentary and the other in something like a Pixar short film. To me the result feels less like a documentary that got sensationalized and more like a movie that got better grounded. This is what Disney's Dinosaur should have been.
Will there be any Triassic sequences?

Thanks guys. Yes, this is a very different approach to storytelling with prehistoric animals. It is not what people are used to so you may find yourself liking one way or the other. Thats not a bad thing, its just different. Man I love the Pterosaur story. Excellent job on that one. And who can go wrong with big, dumb, shroom eating dinosaurs? lol. And they work without narration. I really wanna see the rest of the Pterosaur sequence... Cool.
