Speaking of, hey Ajax, maybe you can help with acquiring the Yowies ( prehistoric animals)? We can work out a deal? Just a thought ) I have honestly never seen them, are they like Kinda surprises or something, and what can i do to help. Serious? I think they come in a plastic egg. They are 3D puzzles, like Kaiyodo just not as good details. Here, check this link out: www001.upp.so-net.ne.jp/akichan/lost-a2.htmIts the diversity of unique species, many never before made as toy figures, that makes the whole series really appealing to me. Oh they have cool prehistoric sharks, too, like the helecoprion ( I thinks thats haw you spell it ;D) It could be that they are no longer being produced?

Is there a 'smaller" figure you are after that you can't find there? I can take a look and see if I have any extras or if I can get a hold of them easily. I already know you like stegos ;D

Oh, where do you buy Yowies? ;D Good question, you are asking someone who lives in the USA ;D Maybe a toy store or a candy store? did they come with candy? As promised--you guys all owe me now--I have a source for Yowies in Australia--the only place where you could buy them (there was a UK line as well, but no prehistorics in that one). Her name is Christine. I am putting the email address under the Stuff (Secret) board, so that only members can get the email address. Wouldn't want to be a spam source after all. dinotoyforum.proboards100.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=members&thread=163&page=13And except for someone that has somehow come into large lots, these would never be available in the US--did you know there are laws there about selling candy eggs with prizes inside? That's why Kinder Surprise aren't sold there either. They are afraid people will eat the egg, and the plastic capsule, and the toy. Seriously.

Swwweeet ;D (I just purchased my yowies from ebay Australia. It was a pretty cheap way to get them, though you tend to get a fair number of doubles when you purchase large lots.) As for people eating the prize/toy and all....well, that is far to funny for me to even contemplate right now.

It must be an American thing--they sell Kinder Surprise in Canada after all (apparently there is a bit of a black market in smuggling them across the border!).

The problem is that BC is not exactly fossil rich, at least in dinos, so it isn't a big thing there.

Here are my latest prehistoric mammal additions ;D The Bullyland Soft Play Mammoth! This guys is huge! I was not planning on buying him since he cost so much, but I found this guy on clearance for $13, so why not? Now I have no clue where to put him! The smaller figure is the regular one. [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7308205.jpg" Theri talked me into checking out these Bully evolution of man figures, so here are some of them. Boy are they ugly ;D I'm glad I got them though, nice meal for my prehistoric big cats ;D I am waiting on my ML cave man family... [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7308206.jpg" Fame Master Ice Age Mammals ( this set was released by Club Earth). Cool but a pain to put together ;D [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7308210.jpg" Completing my AAA prehistoric mammals! I finally got the last two figures [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7308211.jpg" Finally, the Wild Republic set of Ice Age Mammals. I finally got them Sbell! They are hollow figures and a lot bigger than I expected. [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7308212.jpg" Thats it for now ;D Oh, almost forgot my "version" of dinofelis ;D [img src="http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p323/Bokichops/S7308208.jpg"

The ancestors of the mammals started in the Late Carboniferous period. There are no mammals from the Devonian period. ;D

It must be an American thing--they sell Kinder Surprise in Canada after all (apparently there is a bit of a black market in smuggling them across the border!). There is. My best friend Kelly is a ring leader. Here's the deal--it's apparently illegal under US child safety regulations to embed something plastic inside of food. So we go to the store every time we're in The True North Strong and Free and stock up on Kinder eggs and acetomenophen hydrocodone tablets (really the best OTC pain-killers anywhere).
