I only managed to find the first story arc (Tribal Warfare) and for me that's the BEST comic book about dinosaurs ever Love the art,it reminds me a lot of William Stout's paintings

I have both graphic novels and and the individual issues I bought " Ages " ago...lol
Made me wish they'd animated it...if anyone knows where Delgado is now I'd be interested in hearing...I couldn't find a site or anything for him.

God, if they would've animated it. But they really are the best Dino comics. Sid, you gotta read the second arc about the allosaurs. Super awesome. But I did like the first better.

good thing I bought it back in the day. Didn't get the novel for Warfare though, just the comics.

My individual issues were heavily read and had quite a bit of damage as a result...so I bought both graphic novels years back on eBay for about 5.00 each..lol

;D I like this description I found of "The Hunt":
"His mother slaughtered by a pack of Ceratosaurus,a terrified Allosaurus must make his way across the sweltering deserts of Jurassic North America,or face the same fate himself..."

That's pretty much it, although he doesn't really save the Diplo's. They all get taken out by a giant flood.

That's pretty much it, although he doesn't really save the Diplo's. They all get taken out by a giant flood. That happens...but he wasn't supposed to save em' or anything...the Allo is just trying to survive and eventually get revenge... there is a role reversal from the first issues to the last..if your not the hunter your just prey...so the Allo realizes he must become the hunter.

yea, and genius on Delgado's part for the end when Al sees the baby Cerat's and just walks away.

He does kill the father though and they see it...so on one hand he showed mercy and left the mother and hatchlings alive...on the other they may grow up and come after him at some point. It prob would have better for him to wipe out all of them though.

It's funny seeing a revenge minded (and sometimes merciful) Allosaurus...(and possibly Ceratosaurus should they decide to gang up on the allosaur with their mother when they grow up,Matrix style just like their dear old dad and his buddies did...)

I think it's interesting to note just how many moral issues were in that one scene..and how all that was conveyed to the " reader " with only a few panels and no words...

That's what i'm sayin about Delgado's genius. He nails facial expressions in an animal long dead. Really wish he would of done more. Maybe i'll write him an angry letter. Yea.
