Invicta Sauropods are NOT overrated.
The Bullyland (feathered) Raptor are lots of fun at a dinner table, leaping out at a burger from behind a salad.... ergo- underrated.

The Invicta sauropods are wonderful. After all these years they have held up remarkably well. Heck, I even think the painted Invicta diplodocus is a better figure than the new Safari dippy (at least the Invicta isn't yellow. Who in Safari is responsible for applying this implausible color scheme to a very good sculpt?). Some of the rest of the line have indeed aged badly (the sprawling scelidosaurus comes to mind) but are still aesthetically more appealing than their Toyway replacements or their Carnegie counterparts.

I agree the Invicta sauropods are great. Artisticallthere very appealingy but the posture of some of there necks long with there feet should be redone.

Overrated: Papo figures. Don't get me wrong, they are cool looking and wonderfully sculpted and detailed, however the coloring is a bit on the boring side. We have enough green colored dinos!
Underrated: Bullyland's newer apatosaurus and brachiosaurus. Both is a step up from other Bully figures. The mid-stride poses dynamic, good details and fun coloring.

Papo has interesting colors on some dinos....( Looks at pachy and allo). Another overrated one is the battat ceratosaur. It is that horribly painted yet it goes for tons of money on ebay...

I can't think of a more accurate and beautiful Carno.

I think the Schleich spinosaurus (2008) is a bit underrated.

over rated all papo dinosaurs
under rated battat parasaurolophus, alot of criticism over the coloring but i have to say the best parasaurolophus out there as far as accuracy goes.

Ancient thread, but whatever... Overrated: Most dino toys currently in production . I am of the firm belief that by now, there is really no excuse for a dino toy not being as accurate, or almost as accurate, as your average resin kit (when the toy is obviously intended to be "accurate" or "museum quality"). I.e - pronated hands, tree-trunk sauropod feet, oddly-shaped theropod skulls, and various oversized body parts are still rampant. Underrated: Battat para, like wheezy said. The colors really aren't that awful (it's not green anyway) and any inaccuracies it has are really nit-picky. Another wonderful and little mentioned figure is the "Great Dinos" triceratops--IMO the best toy tric since battat. Also, I'm not sure if this counts as underrated exactly, but I have always felt that not enough credit is given to the invicta liopleurodon. I think it's a much more beautiful and realistic figure than either the wwd or safari versions. I don't think there are really that many underrated dino toys though since pretty much anything with a decent amount of accuracy (carnegie 2.0) or nostalgic beauty (invicta), or pure awesomeness (dino riders) is highly coveted by us collectors.

Invicta Lio is definitely an underrated one. Especially the painted one; it's the only non-WWD inspired Lio (except the Kaiyodo) out there.

Underrated - Schleich Spinosaurus - although it's my only Spino I'd rather have it than any others, especially the Carnegie. Overrated - Can't really judge as I only have 3 dinos from major companies.

So you'd rather have an impossibly knuckle-leaning freak with an imaginatively interpreted head than something based on real material...well OK...each to their own (Ugh, sorry, bit stressed right now. And I dislike that figure. That too. I mean, look at it.)

Here's a head shot for you (from the DTB review). "Oh, I don't know, just give it a long snout. That'll do."
