Yeah, that one vs the carnegie spino is like the old carnegie carnotaur vs the new 2011 one. They are just not in the same class!
That too. But can you imagine a bronze invicta lio on a base? That piece would just be perfect for it.

Underrated - Schleich Spinosaurus - although it's my only Spino I'd rather have it than any others, especially the Carnegie. So you'd rather have an impossibly knuckle-leaning freak with an imaginatively interpreted head than something based on real material...well OK...each to their own (Ugh, sorry, bit stressed right now. And I dislike that figure. That too. I mean, look at it.) I can like what I want, thank you! I happen to think it's the best Spino out there, and TBH I don't care if you hate it, I still like it!

Well, it's nice and big, the colours work pretty well (the Papo one, for instance, is a boring old grey), and the way it's posed make it look like it's eyeing some distant prey.

Not really - it's enough of a Spinosaurus for me. Plus I bought it to use in my Primeval Figure Adventures, as a generic Spinosaurid rather than specifically Spinosaurus so the inaccuracies can be played away easily by saying it's an as yet undiscovered species.

With broken arms. (Sorry, I just can't help myself. Although that would explain why it looks kinda sad...)

Aren't their palms supposed to face or something? It'd be hard to lean on its knuckle like that though, and the arm adds to the charm of the toy so I can forgive that.

The palms are supposed to face each other, like a bird's wings The papo one is just as inaccurate as the schleich one, and just as dully colored (dull grey vs dull brown) but at least it is a very good representation of the JP spino. The Schleich one fails both ways. Here is what a real spinosaurus looks like:

I don't care if it's inaccurate, I like it, warts and all. ;D

To each his own ;D I am in love with the disney carnotaurus even though it bears very little resemblance to the real thing (looks like a carno mixed with a t-rex and then given steroids).

I think the Battat Stegosaurus is underrated. Yes, it does have 8 spikes, but it has some beautiful detailing to it.

I find it difficult to choose an overated one. With the info available on this forum, most figures have their shortcomings pretty well identified. For the underrated ones, I do have a favorite . I've always thought that the Marx Struthimimus doesn't get the attention it deserves. Given, when it was made, it's rarity of other companies manufacturing it, it's size(close to 1-40), I would venture that it's highly underrated.

Inspecting my shelves yesterday evening I found out Procon/CollectA Stegosaurus is a really cool and probably underrated figure.

Underrated figure in my opinion would be the allosaur faced spinosaur from the Carnegie Collection.
sure its obviously outdated, but i see it as a relic that depicts how scientists used to see it, back in the old days.
