Does this mean we will be getting a Bluray release, or are they just talking about including a bunch of special features? Sorry, I just couldn't decide which of the two it was. I hope we're getting both, as the amazing job you guys did needs to be presented in 1080p glory. ;D I'd also love to see some behind the scenes of David and Angie working their magic.

I just got done watching Survival Tactics, it certainly took me long enough to find it online. Overall it was better than "Evolutions Winners" but not as good as "The Watering Hole", I'm still on the fence with regards to "End Game". Some complaints with regards to ST. The Utahraptors looked great...except for when they ran, especially since their arms weren't tucked back enough to prevent their feathers from nearly touching the ground. The rahonavis story was the best by far but I didn't like the stiff feathers on top the head, a minor complaint really. The Guanlong story kind of bored me but I loved their design. The shroomosaurus segment was silly but entertaining. The protoceratops segment was pretty good but why would the velociraptors attack a second and than third animal after they already had one dead? The pterosaur segment was cute but I'm getting tired of the pterosaur behavior= bird behavior analogy. That said I'm not sure I like sauropods or pterosaurs being portrayed as caring parents. DR overall; looks fantastic and is certainly entertaining but if you're looking for education or accurate behavior look elsewhere. If I'm not mistaken that is the way it was supposed to be, I cannot wait for a DVD release with the stories the way they were meant to be told. Now...here's looking forward to the rest of PD!

Phew! Thank you so much for that! Sorry if I sounded pushy... ;D You aren't being pushy, nah. Whatever they are doing is probably pretty cool so that's awesome! Can't wait to hear more! Jeremy!!! LOL!!! Lets not and say we did I don't need to be in any behind the scenes, ha!!! Gwangi At least now I know which stories made it thru, I still wasn't sure, lol. Yeah, I look forward to see what they will do with it as well. Guess I get to wait with everyone else... In the mean time, I think Terra Nova starts tonight. More dinosaurs! More dinosaurs equal a better world Best guys! BTW, that's still me I changed my profile name trying to be more creative. Didn't really work and "Hadrosaurs are the best dinosaurs ever" was to long, lol!

Omg, I have found my way here! This seems like a cool place and never knew about it! How can this be? Surely I was more intelligent than to miss out on this place? Clearly not!
Well, let my first post be this!
I was finally able to watch all 4 episodes of this wonderful show! While I still think that the Watering Hole was by far the best episode, Survival Tactics may be my 2nd favorite. Although it had multiple stories, it was much more well done than the first episode, Evolution's Winners. I may be in the minority but I love the anthropomorphism and the situational humor the dinosaurs get into. It's almost as if this is how Disney's Dinosaur could have been if they would have just made the dinosaurs shut up! My favorite bits were the "shroom" experience and the very end of the protoceratops part.
Overall this series was very well done in it's storytelling and creature design. I REALLY loved the color designs, too! Never have dinosaurs looked so interesting!
I can't help but feel that a lot of the flow and actual PARTS of some of these stories were cut out to make room for commercials and the talking heads, don't you all think? I really can't wait to see the intended version and hopefully see all of these stories fleshed out.
Speaking of the new Blu Ray, I hope there is a music-only track, animated storyboards of never-completed segments, the two rumored episodes, that documentary on the making of that was filmed (were the talking heads taken from this and put into the broadcast version perhaps?), and more.
Now IF they are able to improve any of the graphics, and even if not... PLEASE hear me out makers of the show...
You HAVE to re-do the final shot of episode 4, End Game!
The animation of the bird in the statue head, followed by the flying away from the CGI building and etc... was really awful and looked very much rushed. Out of all the CGI in this series it was by far the worst done, which is quite funny since it could have easily been filmed practically. Trust me, sometimes doing it for real is better, maybe even cheaper! Please, if anyone with the power to fix this scene can in time, please do for the Blu Ray release! I'm not trying to be unpleasant, it's just a last impression means a lot... and it's a shame the last frames of this show, in any version, are that...

Speaking of the "intended version" BLU RAY release again, I wonder if they will keep the "Dinosaur Revolution" name, or will it go back to "Reign Of The Dinosaurs". I'm hoping for the latter, although it isn't essential.

Saw "Survival Tactics" (THANKS GWANGI!!!) and let me say it: while the rest was very, very good, the real masterpiece is the Protoceratops story: if there's a DR segment which should be expanded in a proper movie, well, that's it! The ending, while brief (and i bet they cut a lot of stuff there), was very moving! Plus, properly feathered dromeosaurids, YAY! (oh, and it's just me or that Utahraptor with those funky face feathers was really modelled after Uncle Scrooge? ;D)

For me the Protoceratops story was also the best piece, even of the whole series. The old Protoceratops saves the little youngster and keeps an eye on him until they find a new herd. And then the touching end when he moves to the dino cemetery to die. It is like the last duty of an old veteran.

I know, it is kind of strange. Did anyone here pre-order the original DVD? If so, were you charged?

I have read in another forum that there are 6 episodes and that it wasn't initially planned to include the talking people. Is that true and if yes, where are the two remaining episodes?

I just rewatched The Watering Hole today, and noticed they definitely cut a scene at one point due to a big "?" that rang in my head in terms of story continuity. In one scene before the commercial break it shows the Allosaur after the juvenile Dinheirosaurus, and then the Torvosaurus arrives on the hill, and the Allosaur stops dead in his tracks. Cut to commercial. When we come back from the break, it shows the Allosaur sitting back by his tree, the Dinheirosaurus herd is moving, and the Miragaia are suddenly coming into view. And the Torvosaurus then suddenly comes up from behind the Miragaia and attacks. Uhm... okay... how did all of this suddenly happen? Why did the Allosaur go back to his tree on the hill, which the Torvo was just at right before the break? And how did he suddenly teleport all the way over there to attack the Miragaia? Obviously SOMETHING happened in-between this time from the commercial break for these changes to happen. An obviously cut scene is right there. I wonder what events took place for them to all change position?

I especially love those Sideshow Dinosauria Krentz T.rexes on screen~ It's tempting to re-paint that T-Rex like " Jack " isn't it ? ;D

If I had an extra piece, I would have actually painted one like "Jack", but on the other hand, I am quite happy with the original color scheme~
